Surrounded by her loving family, Lois “Pat” Patricia Vasquez peacefully entered eternal rest on November 10, 2025.

Pat was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose kindness and strength touched all who knew her. She is survived by her beloved children, Tracy and Eddie Jr. (Idalia); and will be forever cherished by her adoring grandchildren: Kristen, Nicole, Alani, Alia, Avrianna, Akirah, Axenia, Axzyla, Jadon, and Aiden. Pat also leaves behind her loving siblings, Linda, Phillip, and Woody, along with countless relatives and friends who will miss her deeply.

She is reunited in heaven with her husband, Edward P. Vasquez Sr.; her daughter, Geri Renee Gallman; her parents, Woodrow and Hettie (née Sterling) Medlin; and her siblings, Delorse and Jerry.

Pat’s unwavering love, wisdom, and laughter will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. Her spirit will continue to guide her family and remind them of the beauty of a life well-lived.

Celebration of LifeFamily and friends are invited to celebrate Pat’s life on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.

Interment will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, at 2:30 p.m.
