Age 92, at rest on Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center. Loving mother of James (Late Susan) Hoye, and Kathy A. (Frank) Baloy; dearest grandmother of Sandi Lotz, Lorri (Lindsey) Heavener, Salli (John) Boland, and Beth (Bob) Ruscitti; great-grandmother of Alexis, Jordan, Ryan, Lauren, Jack and Ben. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Preceded in death by her husband James E. Hoye (1975); son Joseph (in infancy); parents Wallace and Alice (Nee Hopper) Jones; sister Dorothy Casassa; two brothers Bert and Carlin Jones. Lorene was born in Wilmington, IL. resided in Joliet most of her lifetime. Volunteered for many years as a Foster Grandparent. Contributions to the charity of your choice in Lorene"s name will be appreciated.
From where services will be held Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at 9:30 AM to the Cathedral of St. Raymond for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation Monday from 5 to 8 PM.
