Lorene A�??ReneA�?i�� M. Taylor, age 79, longtime resident of Rockdale, at rest at her home on September 30, 2012. Survived by her daughter Cindy (Bill) Waznis; grandchildren Brian Waznis, Melissa (Jeremy) Pierce, and Amanda Waznis; great-grandchildren Brandon, Robby, Hailey, Patrick and Allie Pierce and Tyler Waznis; sister-in-law Mardel Rock and special cousin Ray Rock; great aunts Doris and Millie Babich; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Preceded in death by her husband Robert E. Taylor; parents Anna (nee Babich) and Alexander Rock and brother Richard Rock.
Rene worked for Illinois Bell as a supervisor for over 25 years, she retired from the company to babysit her grandchildren. She was a member of CCW and was an avid bowler.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to St. Joseph Church, Rockdale.
A Celebration of ReneA�??s life will begin on Friday, October 5, 2012 at 9:15 a.m. with prayers at the funeral home chapel then moving in procession to St. Joseph Church, Rockdale for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery in Joliet .
