Loretta T. Ferguson (nee McMaster), age 81 at rest on Thursday, March 24, 2016.
Loretta is survived by her beloved husband, Eugene R. Ferguson; children, Thomas E. (the late Renee) Ferguson, Patrick (Eileen) Ferguson; grandchildren, Corey and Christopher Ferguson; great-grandchildren, Cheyanne and Shae.
Preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary McMaster; daughter-in-law, Renee Ferguson; sister, Ellen Stapay; and brother, Thomas McMaster.
Loretta was born and raised in Joliet and was a parishioner at St. Mary Immaculate in Plainfield as well as St. Mary Nativity in Joliet. She was a member of St. Mary Nativity Choir for over 20 years. Loretta was a member of the St. Mary Nativity Woman’s Club. She was a loving wife and mother who will be dearly missed.
A celebration of Loretta’s life will begin on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 with prayers in the funeral home chapel at 9:20 a.m. then driving in procession to St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church in Joliet for a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
