Louis L. Smolich

Louis L. Smolich, age 90, passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2013.
Survived by his wife of 68 years Geraldine Smolich; his children LouEllen (Geoff) Kleronomos, David (Theresa) Smolich, and Joseph (Sherri) Smolich; one brother Rudy (Lois) Smolich; two sisters Maggie Smolich and Frances Sovich; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
Preceded in death by his parents Catherine (nee Spelich) and Anton Smolich; one son Randy Smolich, one grandson in infancy David M. Smolich; 4 sisters and 4 brothers.
Louis was a member of the SNPJ and the American Fraternal Organization. He worked at Werden Buck as a truck driver for 25 years. Louis was an avid gardener and enjoyed being the handyman around the house. He was a loving father and will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers donations in LouisA�?? name may be made to Masses at St. Joseph Church in Joliet.
A Celebration of LouisA�?? life will begin on Thursday, February 21, 2013 with a Chapel Service at the funeral home chapel at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville.
