Age 83. Passed away peacefully Friday December 2, 2011 with his family by his side.
Survived by his devoted wife of 59 years, Loretta A. (nee Hajduk) Starasinic; one daughter, Deborah (John) Lahey, and one grandchild, Caitlin Lahey; 2 brothers, Joseph (Mary Lou) and Leonard (Janet) Starasinic. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers, and 4 sisters.
Louis was born in Joliet, and was a lifelong area resident. Louis was a United States Army veteran specializing his skills in the armory. He retired in 1991 from the Brick Layers Union Local #74 after over 30 years of service. Louis loved to hunt, fish, and target shoot. Tex could always be found every weekend at the Area 1 Club in Coal City enjoying nature.
Private funeral services were held.
