Lucille R. Disera “Lucy,” age 88, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2017.
Lucy is survived by her brother, Angelo (Sally Jo) DiSera; brother-in-law, Robert (Eleanor Keagle) Whitman; nieces and nephews, Toni Ann (John) Freckelton, Beverly (the late Michael) Whitman, Denise DiSera, David (Donna) DiSera, Derek (Silvia) DiSera and Dina (Mark) DiSera-Plada; grandnieces and grandnephews, Stefanie (Michael) Medina, Patricia (Nick) Vasiliades, Benjamin DiSera, Paige DiSera, Edward DiSera, Michael Plada, Claire DiSera, Danielle Plada and Sofia DiSera; three great-grandnephew and nieces, James Vasiliades, Emilie Medina and Arielle Medina.
Preceded in death by parents, Bernardino and Maria (nee D’Angelis) Disera, sister, Antoinette Whitman; nephew, Michael Whitman.
Lucy was a devoted caregiver to her mother and was loved and cherished by her entire family. She will be truly missed.
A celebration of Lucy’s life will begin on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 with a visitation at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service to be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:30 a.m. Per Lucy’s wishes cremation rites will be accorded following the service. Interment will be held privately at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Joliet.
