Margaret E. Tadey (nee Shaffer) Age 84
Born on January 26, 1925, a lifelong resident of Crest Hill, Shorewood and Joliet. Passed away Friday, September 25, 2009 at Lakewood Nursing Home, Plainfield. She is survived by her sister Georgine (Stephen) Platko, her nieces, Larissa Platko (Ray) Barbee, Beth Platko (Matthew) Peterson, Antoinette Shaffer (Ray) Furbee and grand nieces, Claire and Natalie Petersen and Amanda Williams. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Sylvester Tadey, her parents, George and Antonia Shaffer, her brother Lucian and sister-in-law Sally Shaffer. Margaret was a lifelong member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Crest Hill.
A Mass of Christian of Burial will be held Monday September, 28, 2009 at 10:00 AM. At St. Anne Catholic Church at church. The family will receive relatives and friends at 9:30 AM. Interment St. Mary Nativity Cemetery, Crest Hill
