Marie C. Belom (nee Crnkovic), age 79, of Joliet, at rest July 2, 2012. Loving mother of Terrence, Louis, Debra (Dr. James) Stasko ,Scott, Brian (Sherry Paul) Belom; dear grandmother of Jeffory and Brandi Belom and Kristi (Matt) Admonis; Kelly and Michael Belom; Melissa (Matt) Waitz, James, Joseph (Aimee Kocik) and Louis Stasko; Samantha and Jake Belom; Rob and Ryan Belom; great-grandmother of Reese and Avery Belom, Brady Admonis; Ashlan and Beckett Waitz; sister of Donald (Joan) and Leon (Sharon) Crnkovic; sister-in-law of Joyce (late Frank) Crnkovic; daughter-in-law Dawn Belom; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
She was preceded in death by her husband Louis V. Belom, Jr. in 1987; parents Mary (nee Panian) and Vincent Crnkovic and brothers Vincent (Beverly) and Frank Crnkovic.
Marie was born in Joliet and remained a lifelong resident. She was employed at Jewel Food Store in Joliet.

A celebration of MarieA�??s life will begin on Friday, July 6, 2012 at 9:30 am with prayers at the funeral home chapel, then in procession to the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am. Committal service to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Thursday from 3:00pm to 8:00 pm at Tezak's Home to Celebrate Life.
