Mary Ann (nee Videtich) Churnovic, age 100, at rest Thursday, April 27, 2006, at Villa Franciscan Nursing Home.

Survived by her loving children, Richard (Audrey) Churnovic and Darlene (the Late LeRoy) Marquardt; her grandchildren, Richard (Nancy) Churnovic, Lynn (Michael) Miller, Janice (James) Coats, John (Sylvia) Churnovic, Mary Ann (Alan) Hemmingson, Lori (Gary) Bond, Mark ""Weasel"" Churchovic, Carrie, (George) Santiago, Darrell (Lydia) Marquardt, Denise (David) Stout, David (Vivian) Marquardt, Darla (Raymond) Tomac and Lee Ann (Robert) Johnson; 32 great grandchildren; and 15 great great grandchildren; her sisters, Helen (Late Eugene) Wilhelmi, Vera ( Late Stanley) Demsky and Dorothy (Robert) Lilek; her sister-in-law, Margaret (late Anthony Videtich; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her husband, John A. Churnovic, daughter, Mary Ann in infancy; her parents, Joseph and Mary (nee Libersher) Videtich; her sisters, Cecelia Batusich, and Ann Videtich;, brothers, Joseph, Martin, Emil, William, Anthony, and Edward in infancy; and her great grandson, Austin Ralph Bond.

Born on October 24, 1905, ""Moka"" as she was affectionately called, was a life-long resident of Joliet and Crest Hill. She loved spending time with her family, cooking her homemade specialties, polkas, and her daily martini. Moka was the heart of the Churnovic/Marquardt family. She was a member of St. Joseph Church and the St. Genevieve Society #108 KSKJ.

The family would like to thank the staff at Villa Franciscan Nursing Home and Joliet Area Community Hospice for all the care and kindness they showed her.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Joliet Area Community Hospice, KSKJ Scholarship Fund, or Villa Franciscan Care Center.

Funeral Services will be held Monday May, 1 2006 at 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Joseph Catholic Church Joliet for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
