Age 81. At rest on Friday, September 14, 2007 at Provena Villa Franciscan. Survived by her beloved husband of 60 years Victor J. Surges; loving mother of Tina (late James) McDonnell, Peggy (Steven) Holmes and Stephen Surges; devoted grandmother of six grandchildren; one sister Pauline. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by her parents Stephen and Ann (nee Dolance) Larres. Mary was born in Joliet and a lifelong resident. Member of St. John Church.
The Family of Mary D. Surges invites relatives and friends to join them at St. John Church on Hickory St. for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated on Monday, September 17, 2007 at 9:00 AM. Interment will be held at St. John Cemetery. There is no Funeral Home or Church visitation.
