Mary B. Viano (nee Stiglic), age 96, of Joliet, passed away peacefully Thursday, May 2, 2013.
Mary is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph W. Viano; parents,
Frank and Frances (nee Stiglic); sisters, Frances(John) Zlogar, Elizabeth (Loren) McMichael, Evelyn (Frank) Sanello and brothers Frank, Edward, Albert (Joanne), Michael and Floyd Stiglic.
Mary was born in Joliet and a life-long resident.
She worked for American Steel & Wire for a number of years retiring in 1965.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Church in Joliet or the charity of choice.
A Celebration of MaryA�??s life will begin on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at 10:30 am with prayers in the funeral home chapel, then moving in procession to Sacred Heart Church in Joliet for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Joliet.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Tezak Funeral Home.
