Mary J. Vranich, age 95, at rest on Sunday, July 24, 2011 at Provena Villa Franciscan Nursing Home.
She is survived by one sister, Kathryn (late Laurence) Capriotti, 1 brother, Donald E. (Patricia) Vranich, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, and 2 special friends, Clara Kovalcik and Kathy Carter.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Anna (nee Kozar) and Florian S. Vranich, Sr., 2 sisters, Anna E (late Edward) Kobe and Barbara J. (late Victor) Kuzminski, and 4 brothers, Edward J. (late Mary Lou), Florian S., Jr., Raymond K., and Frank W. Vranich.
She was born in Joliet, was a lifelong resident, and retired from US Steel. Mary was a lifetime member of St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church.
A Celebration of Mary"s Life will be held with an interment at St. Mary Nativity Cemetery. Crest Hill, this Thursday at 10 AM. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, Aug 6 at 10 AM at St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church.
