Maryann A. Gregory
May 20, 1918 — February 10, 2015
Maryann Gregory (nee Mihelic), age 96, at rest on Tuesday, February 10, 2015.
Survived by her loving sisters, Dorothy (the late James) Miller, and Genevieve Tuel; brother, Jack Mihelic; sisters-in-law, Dixie and Olga Mihelic. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband Albert E. Gregory (2014); parents, Jacob and Mary (nee Bebar) Mihelic; sisters, Frances Mihelic, Maragret (Edmund) Stritzel, Antonia (Rudolph) Silich and Phyllis (John) Edwards; four brothers, Frank, Joseph, Edward(Theresa) and Anthony Mihelic.
Maryann was born and raised in Joliet, IL and was a lifelong parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Joliet. She was a member of St. Joseph's choir for many years as well as the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary. Maryann had a long and happy life. She will be missed by many.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Maryann's name to Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
A celebration of Maryann's life will begin on Saturday, February 14, 2015 with a visitation at Tezak Funeral home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. then driving in procession to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Joliet for a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
