Marylou Hernandez, age 64, went to be with Jesus with her family by her side at her home in Seneca on Friday, August 3, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. Marylou was born in El Paso, Texas and resided in Joliet for over 37 years. She was a proud employee with the Illinois Department of Employment Security for over 27 years.
Preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
Survived by her loving husband Anselmo Hernandez, Sr.; children Anselmo, Jr. (Deb), Toby (Ana) and Frank A. (Tara);brothers Mario (Sue), Manny, Tony, Lupe and Joe (Candi); sister Rosie and Midy twelve grandchildren; one great grandchild; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, newphews and cousins.
A Celebration of MarylouA�??s life will begin on Tuesday, August 7th with a funeral service at 4:30p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Visitation will be Tuesday following the service until 8:00p.m. at TezakA�??s Home to Celebrate Life. Interment Private. Obituary and Tribute Wall for Marylou at www.tezakfuneralhome.com.
