Mauricio Salvador Juarez, 67, passed  away on Friday, October 14, 2022 in Wilmington,IL. He was born on July 7, 1955 in  Traverse City, Michigan and later moved to Joliet,IL in 1960

Mauricio went by many names: Sal, Moe, Moe Green, Sexy Mexi, Morris Morado, Kermit, Morris The Cat, Pepper Man, Buddy and Uncle Buddy

He wasn’t just an Uncle but a big brother to his older nieces and nephews. He loved 70s music, especially Motown.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Ascencion Juarez and Juliana Tristan Juarez; brothers: Manuel (Mary), Aurelio, Mateo & Robert Juarez; sisters: Mary Juarez, Juanita Theresa (Juan) Ortiz and Anna Juarez.

Left to cherish his memory are his sisters: Francisca Juarez, Victoria (Luther, deceased) Sowards, Gloria (Ysidro, deceased) Garcia; a special nephew and niece: Philip (Valerie) Juarez and Crystal (Octavio) Del Rio. He is also survived by 23 nieces and nephews, numerous great nieces & nephews & great-great nieces & nephews.

A celebration of Mauricio's life will begin on Thursday, October 20, 2022 with a visitation at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Per his wishes cremation rites will be accorded following visitation.
