Michael A. Rehbock, beloved father, grandfather, son, and brother, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 31, 2024. He was born on December 18, 1978. Michael lived a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Michael graduated from Herscher High School. He was an enthusiastic participant in various sports activities and had a particular fondness for football and wrestling during his high school years. Michael's competitive spirit and dedication shone through in his athletic pursuits.
Michael embarked on a fulfilling career at All About Plumbing. He dedicated his time and expertise to this profession, leaving behind a lasting impact on all those who had the pleasure of working with him. Colleagues remember him for his diligence, professionalism, and commitment to the job.
Outside of work, Michael's interests were diverse and vibrant. He possessed an exceptional culinary talent and took great pleasure in cooking and grilling delicious meals for family and friends. His culinary creations will forever be remembered as moments of pure joy shared around the dinner table.
When it came to celebrating life's moments, Michael had an unparalleled ability to captivate those around him. With his infectious energy and vibrant personality, he effortlessly became the life of every party he attended. His presence alone could lift spirits and bring smiles to the faces of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A true family man at heart, Michael treasured his children and grandchildren above all else. Anthony, Robert, Destany, Julian, Angelina, Morgan, George, Marcello; grandchildren Ariela, Natalia, Michelle and Emillio were the center of his world. He delighted in their accomplishments and took immense pride in watching them grow.
Michael will be dearly missed by his loved ones. He is survived by his father Raymond (Mary) Rehbock, his mother Cynthia Svec, and his siblings Nicholas Rehbock, Anthony Rehbock, and Dustin Svec. Although Michael's passing leaves a void that can never be filled, the memories they shared together will forever hold a special place in their hearts. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins who loved him dearly.
Preceded in death by his cousin, Brandon M. Rehbock.

A celebration of Michael’s life will be held on Monday, February 5, 2024 with visitation at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The family invites relatives and friends to join them on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at Tezak Funeral Home for funeral services beginning with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service to be held at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville.
