Michael Fredrick Spalliero, age 65, of Joliet, at rest on Sunday, January, 27, 2013 at Silver Cross Hospital.
Survived by his loving wife Janice (nee Purdy) of Joliet, IL; his three daughters Michelle (Ian) Fisher, of Toano, VA, Julie and Elizabeth Spalliero of Joliet, IL; seven grandchildren Leah, Lyndsy, Lisa, Timothy, Kyle, Emily, and David; two sisters Carol of Knoxville, TN and Sharon of Rockford, TN; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
Preceded in death by his parents Frank and Beatrice Spalliero; one son Michael F. Spalliero (In Infancy); and one brother Frank Spalliero.
Michael was born on July 28, 1946 in Chicago, IL and was married on June 6, 1970. He was a member of the Teamsters Local #705 and was a truck driver for Carmichael Cartage. Michael was a parishioner of St. Bernard Catholic Church and was an active member of St. Joseph Joliet School and Church while his three children attended.
A Celebration of MichaelA�??s life will begin on Friday, February 1, 2013 at 9:15 a.m. with prayers at the funeral home chapel then moving in procession to St. Bernard Catholic Church, for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Joliet. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 31, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at TezakA�??s Home to Celebrate Life.
