Nancy J. McGrath
April 14, 1930 — March 1, 2018
Nancy J. McGrath (nee Clark) age, 87, passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2018 with her loving family by her side.
Nancy is survived by her children, Richard (Lynne), Karen, Stephen (Mary Kay), Patrick (Donna) McGrath and Lisa (Kevin) McKanna; grandchildren, Natalie, Mary Grace, Margaret (Maggie), Sean, Kyle, Kaitlyn and Ainsley; and great-granddaughter, Lily.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard M. McGrath; her parents, Robert and Irene (nee Dracca) Clark, her brother, Robert Clark; and sister, Mary Ann Ward.
Nancy was born and raised in Joliet, Illinois. She graduated from Copley School of Nursing. She was also a member of the Council of Catholic Women.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
A celebration of Nancy’s life will begin on Monday, March 5th, 2018 with a visitation at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 18 Woodlawn Ave, Joliet, IL 60435 from 10:00 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Joliet.
There will be no funeral home visitation or service.
