Pamela Brenda Clark

Pamela Brenda Clark, age 80 of Romeoville, IL, passed away at Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, IL on September 23, 2026. She was born to her father Geoffrey Hills and mother Rose Hills (née Webb) in Nottingham, England on July 27, 1946.

Pam was born and raised in England until the age of ten years old, when her family first moved to Canada before immigrating to the United States. She spent 25 years working for the Sears Corporation as an Executive Secretary in what was at the time the world’s tallest building, the Sears Tower. Pam’s professional life in corporate America may have belied her natural artistic interests. She had an eye for beauty and enjoyed bringing beautiful things to their full glory. She had an effortless ability to grow beautiful flowers and plants, she loved to paint and knit, and she could capture an audience with her storytelling abilities as she recounted her life experiences. She was kind to animals and loved her birds Jake and Stormy, and she was just a thoughtful and generous person at heart. Providing an example to emulate for her family, whom she loved so dearly.

She was preceded in death by her father Geoffrey Hills and her mother Rose Hills (née Webb).

Pam is survived by her children Deanna (Kurt Bihlmayer) Kiel, Melissa Podkulski, and Jeffrey (Pilar) Clark; her grandchildren Erich (April) and Kristoffer Bihlmayer, Brenton (Meagan) Podkulski, Sara Martinez, Amanda Wiersema, Jessica (Jack) Ivory, and William and Winter Clark; great-grandchildren Ari Mitchell, Chase Coppelman, Ethan Podkulski, Logan and Harper Martinez, Theodore and Olivia Wiersema, and Noah, Maverick, and Reign Ivory; her siblings Trevor (Brenda) and Vincent Hills; and her nephews Mark and Steven Hills.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday October 3, 2026 from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Tezak’s Home to Celebrate Life, 1211 Plainfield Rd. Joliet, IL 60435. Pamela’s mortal remains will reside in the protective custody of her loving family. Cremation rites have been accorded.
