Patricia R. Daffara (nee Biesiada), at rest on Thursday, April 10, 2014.
Patricia is survived by her loving children, Michael (Pam) West and Debbie Berry; cherished grandchildren, Courtney (the late John) Simpson, Shawn (fiancee Adrianna) West, and Dru Berry; dear great-grandchildren, Kerrigan Simpson, Easton West, and Kiley Van Leeuwen; and good friends, Jyme Ann and Jim Perry.
Preceded in death by her husband, James Daffara; parents, Walter and Irene (nee Rakowski) Biesiada; brother, Walter E. Biesiada; and grandson-in-law, John Simpson.
Patricia lived her life through her grandkids and great-grandkids. She enjoyed taking trips to Las Vegas, most of all she loved her family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Patricia's name to Leukemia & Lymphoma Research Foundation or Alzheimer's Disease Research Foundation.
A Celebration of Patricia's life will be held with a gathering of family and friends on Sunday, April 27, 2014 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. at the South Side Civic Club, 1214 Oakland Avenue, Joliet.
Per Patricia's wishes cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no visitation or services at the funeral home.
