Patricia Ann Sandretto

March 28, 1933 — April 12, 2024

Patricia Ann Sandretto, 91, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 12, 2024 at Lightways Hospice.

Born in Joliet on March 28,1933. She attended St. Thaddeus Catholic School in Joliet and graduated from Joliet Township High School. On May 16, 1953, she married the love of her life, her husband, Richard Sandretto. Patricia worked in retail and was a loving and devoted sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Victoria (Piekarz) Farcus, husband, Richard, son-in-law: Tom Seddon, brother, Richard (Amy) Farcus, two sisters, Lucille (Calvin)Lee and Louise (Lenoard) Frieh, brother-in-law, John “Geno” Sandretto and two sister-in-law’s, Marge (Pete) Butts and Catherine Shurson.

Patricia is survived by two loving daughters, Carol (Nick) Honiotes and Janet Seddon: four grandchildren: Kilynn (Eric) Bueltel, Nicholas (Dawn) Honiotes, Amanda (Sean) Chantarapanont, Christie Seddon; five great grandchildren; sister: Helen Farcus;  brother: Raymond (Cheryl) Farcus; sister in law: Alice Sandretto; brother in law: Robert (Dixie) Shurson and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends for visitation at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Rd, Joliet, IL. on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 10:00 am at Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus, 604 N. Raynor Ave., Joliet, IL. with burial to follow for a 12:30 service at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood Il.

Our deepest gratitude to the nurses and staff at Lightways Hospice. Memorials would be appreciated in Patricia’s name to Lightways Hospice or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
