Patricia J. Stechkober (nee Glaum), age 69, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, March 27, 2013.
She is survived by her daughter Vickie (Scott) Wilson; daughter-in-law Tary Glaum; stepson Jeff Apgar; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; her two sisters Jacqueline Shimkus and Barbara Moore; one brother Carter Glaum; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews also survive.
Patricia is preceded in death by her parents Victor and Doris (nee Stevens) Glaum; two sons Dean A�??ElwoodA�?i�� Glaum and John A�??Joliet JakeA�?i�� Stechkober; two grandsons Jeffrey Manning and Jeremy Glaum; one sister Virginia Gorman; and two brothers Kenny and James Glaum.
Patricia always cared for others and never put herself first. She was an awesome Godmother to Janet Dardi. Patricia was a very strong, independent woman and acted as a crutch for the entire family. Patricia will truly be missed.
A Celebration of PatriciaA�??s life will begin on Thursday, April 4, 2013 with a service in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Joliet.
