Phillip John Hines
December 5, 1963 — July 6, 2016
Phillip John Hines, age 52, lifelong resident of Joliet passed away suddenly on July 6, 2016. He is survived by the love of his life, Jaxx Phillip Hines; his parents, Carl and Phyllis (nee Kwasigroch); and two sisters, Andrea Hines and Carla (Scott) Hagner. He is also survived by his nephews, Shannon (Kim) Hines, Mike (Lisa) Allen, and Greg Hagner; nieces, Stephanie (David) Kaufman and Sarah Allen.
Phillip was a long-time auto shop owner and mechanic and owner of five championship race cars at Grundy County Speedway.
A Celebration of Phillip’s life will be held on Sunday, August 14, 2016 at the Joliet Moose Lodge (25 Springfield Ave, Joliet, IL 60435). Doors open at 1:00 p.m.
