Age 80, at rest Wednesday November 19, 2008.
Survived by his beloved wife, Nancy G. Lipe; loving father of Alvin (Judy) Lipe, Gerri (Kevin) Hochevar, Janet (Walker) Wells, and Jen (Mark) Smith; dearest grandfather of Catherine, Desiree and Adam Lipe, Walker and Connor Wells, Mark Smith Jr, and Nicholas Lindmark; his brother, Dale (Sue) Lipe; and sister, Aleta Englehart.
Preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Lou; one son, Roger Lipe; parents, Cecil and Ada (nee Williamson) Lipe; one sister, Wreatha Richardson.
Ralph was born in Montgomery, IL, retired from Vulcan Materials, and proudly served in the 759 Military Police during the Berlin Air Lift U.S. Army.
Chapel service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, at 10:30 am. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, from 2 to 5pm.
