Raymond J. Slobodnik

Age 83, entered eternal life on Saturday, November 2, 2013.

Raymond is survived by his children, Raymond J. (Diane) and Linda Marie Slobodnik; grandchildren, Samantha and Sharon Slobodnik; brother, Jim (Patricia) Slobodnik; sister, Barbara Bouyouris; and sister-in-law, Dolores (the late John Jr.) Slobodnik; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Preceded in death by his loving wife, Rosemarie Slobodnik (nee Jacksa); parents, John Sr. and Mary (nee Dragovan) Slobodnik; brother, John Slobodnik Jr.

Raymond belonged to St. Anne Parish in Crest Hill. He was a member of KSKJ Lodge # 143 and American Legion Post #1080. Raymond was a proud veteran in the United States Army. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

A Celebration of Raymond J. Slobodnik, Sr.'s life will begin on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 with prayers in the funeral home chapel at 9:30 a.m. then moving in procession to St. Anne Catholic Church in Crest Hill for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.
