Regina A. Skorupa
June 24, 1949 — May 31, 2017
Regina Margaret Skorupa, age 67, passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 from a brief illness at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center.
Regina is survived by her sister, Marianne “Dolly” Pliml; brother, Edwin Eric Skorupa and numerous cousins.
Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Anne (nee Kramerich) Skorupa; numerous aunts and uncles.
Regina was a lifelong residence of Joliet. She graduated in 1964 from Saint Patrick’s Grade School. Regina was known for her fondness for language studies.
A celebration of Regina’s life will begin on Thursday, June 8, 2017 with a visitation at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. then driving in procession to St. Patrick Catholic Church in Joliet for a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 11:00 a.m. Cremation rites will be accorded following Mass. Interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday June 10, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Joliet.
