Richard A. Schmidt
September 14, 1957 — October 3, 2012
Richard A. Schmidt, age 55, of Joliet, passed away suddenly on October 3, 2012. Survived by his wife Leanne nee Ficarella; brother James (Terri) B. Schmidt; sisters Joan Stewart and Barbara (James) Souders; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Preceded in death by his parents Wilbur and Esther Schmidt.
During the 1980A�??s, Rich was a volunteer EMT and he had an avid interest in the local fire departments, music, and wrestling. He was also a committed Philadelphia Flyers and Arizona Diamondbacks fan.
Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Joliet Area Fire Department.
