Robert D. Eberhard Jr.

Robert D. Eberhard Jr., 86, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 6, 2026, at his residence in Joliet.

Robert dedicated 28 years of service as the bar manager at the Moran Athletic Club, where he was well known and appreciated by many. He enjoyed spending his free time outdoors, especially fishing and hunting—activities that brought him great happiness in his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert D. Eberhard Sr. and Eleanor Eberhard (née Rosenfield).

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Priscilla C. Eberhard (née Pruss); his two children, Kevin Eberhard and Renee Eberhard; and his loyal four-legged companion, Mitzi, who remained by his side.

A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Rd., Joliet, IL with a chapel service beginning at 4:00 P.M. Cremation rites have been accorded.
