Robert T. Hamanaka, age 88, of Wilmington, born on March 24, 1924 at rest on July 7, 2012. Survived by 3 children Glen Hamanaka, Gloria Lillie, and Robert (Vicki) T. Hamanaka, Jr.; 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his loving wife Millie N. Hamanaka.
Bob was a painter and fisherman by career, but truly a fisherman at heart. He served in the U.S. Army with the 442nd Infantry Regiment in Italy during WWII.
A celebration of BobA�??s life will begin on Monday, July 9, 2012 at 7:30 pm with prayers and a military service. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 pm at TezakA�??s Home to Celebrate Life.
