Survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Sharon (nee Steffes) Ruffatti. Loving father of; Julie (Kevin) Cummings, and Ryan Ruffatti. His parents, Peter and Margaret (nee Christensen) Ruffatti, two sisters, Sharon (Frank) Catania, and Linda (Randy) Teske, a brother Doug (Karen) Ruffatti. Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
Robert was born May 15, 1950, raised in Gardner, attended Goodfarm grade school, and Gardner High School. He graduated from the University of Illinois as a Computer Engineer. Robert was a soccer coach, and was involved with the Boy Scouts.
