Roseanne Angelovich

Roseanne Angelovich, age 83, at rest on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 with her loving family by her side.

Roseanne is survived by her loving son, John (Ann Marie Czerwinski) Angelovich; siblings, Steve (the late Delores) Malinovich, Millie (the late Michael) O'Leary and Nick (Helen) Malinovich; nieces, Annette and Nadine (Josh Potts) O’Leary; as well as numerous cousins; and lifelong best friend, Sharon Zamkovitz.

Preceded in death by her parents, George and Ann (nee Hray) Malinovich; sister-in-law, Delores Malinovich; and brother-in-law Michael O'Leary.

Roseanne attended Eastern Illinois University and graduated from Indiana State University with a Master’s Degree in Education. She enjoyed working as a Physical Education Teacher at Romeoville High School. A woman of quiet grace and strong faith, she lived a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished traditions. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—lounging by the pool in Ft. Myers, Florida, spending quiet afternoons reading, and sharing card games with dear friends. Her time with her beloved granddogs and cat, Eddy, Mikey and Tom brought her happiness. Her deep faith was a guiding light throughout her life. A devoted member of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church in Joliet and the Circle of Serbian Sisters, she found strength, solace, and community within her church family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A celebration of Roseanne’s life will be held Monday, June 16, 2025 with a visitation at St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, 300 Stryker Ave, Joliet, IL 60436 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Service to be held at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Joliet.
