Steve Lorik, 74, of Joliet, born in Budapest, Hungary, passed away April 24, 2011; beloved husband of Nancy nee Mau; loving father of James, Stephen, and Deborah (Mike) Keller; dear grandfather of Emily and Ethan Keller and Sydney Lorik; brother of Marika Horvath; also survived by a niece, Zsuzsuka, a nephew ,Tibor, and numerous relatives.
Preceded in death by his parents Anna and Steve Lorik, brother-in-law Eugene Horvath and cousin Julianna Zivic. Steve was a member of the Lockport Moose for 42 years and retired from Kure Steel after 30 years of service.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be appreciated. A Celebration of Steve"s life will begin on Thursday, April 24, at 11am at the funeral home chapel, then in procession to Elmhurst Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 pm at.
