Susan Lynn Kezele

On July 4, 2023, the world lost a remarkable woman, Susan Lynn Kezele. Born in Joliet, IL on July 30, 1973 to parents Richard Kenneth and Irene Selinger.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Susan was an incredible wife to her husband Brian Kezele and loving mother to her children Rylan and Brycen. She loved her boys more than anything and looked forward to all of their activities; sports, speech, band, baseball... Susan was always looking for ways to keep them involved in something new and different adventures.

Susan had a deep love for her family and friends. She was the glue that kept everyone together always making plans. Her love of flowers, birds, butterflies and animals brightened up any room she was in.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband Brian Kezele; children Rylan Kezele and Brycen Kezele; mother Irene Selinger; brother Michael Selinger; sister Laurie (John) Heidreder.  She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Susan will be deeply missed by all who knew her including family members from near and far who enjoyed the time spent with her over the years. Her memory will be kept alive through the stories shared about how she touched each of our lives with her grace and kindness as well as how she brought us all together when we needed it most.

Family will receive relatives and friends for a visitation on Sunday, July 9, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Rd, Joliet, IL.

Chapel service will be held on Monday, July 10, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Tezak Funeral Home. Cremation will follow in accordance with the family’s wishes.
