Susan S. Mayer (nee Suski) age 79, entered into eternal life on Thursday, July 14, 2016.
Born August 2, 1936 to Louis and Sue Suski and loving wife of Jack W. Mayer (2007) for over 50 years.
Survived by her loving sons, Mark and Mitch (Patty) Mayer; devoted daughter, Michelle (Benny) Rivera; three cherished grandchildren, Luke, Nick, and Jackie Mayer; dear brothers, Rich, David (Margie), and Bill (Mary) Suski; as well as many beloved lifelong friends.
A Celebration of Susan’s life will begin on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Immaculate Church, 15629 IL-59, Plainfield, IL 60544. Family and friends to meet at the church. Interment of cremated remains to follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 19 from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Rd, Joliet, IL 60435. Per Susan’s wishes cremation rites have been accorded.
