Teresa Gonzalez Lopez, our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and matriarch, was gently called to her eternal home by the Lord at the age of 99 on Saturday, January 10, 2026.
She was preceded in glory by her beloved husband, Angel Lopez; her daughter, Cecilia Medina, her grandson, Isidro Garcia and son-in-law Joe Garcia. She is survived by her children: Angel (Rosalba) Lopez Jr., Maria Elena Garcia, Grace (Robert) Rangel, Amelia (Andre) Santos, Andy (Debbie) Lopez , and son-in-law Fred Medina. Her legacy further continues through her 15 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
Born on October 13, 1926, she lived a life richly blessed with long years, unwavering faith, and a heart devoted to God and family. She was a woman of prayer, humility, and quiet strength—one who trusted in the Lord through every season and taught all around her to do the same.
Her hands were ever busy in service to others, her words graced with godly wisdom, and her presence a vessel of His peace. She lived her faith not merely in words, but through daily acts of love, forgiveness, and humble service. Her home was a sanctuary of comfort, prayer, and unconditional love.
She leaves behind a family profoundly shaped by her godly example—children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended kin who will faithfully carry forward her teachings and love. While our hearts ache with earthly loss, we rejoice with heavenly certainty that she now rests in eternal peace, joyfully reunited with those who preceded her and welcomed into the everlasting embrace of her Savior.
We find solace in the sacred promise of Scripture:
“Well done, good and faithful servant… Enter into the joy of your Lord.” (Matthew 25:21)
Her life was a divine blessing. Her memory is a sacred treasure. Her love remains a lasting legacy.
