Thomas J. Sicinski

Thomas J Sicinski, 86 of Joliet IL, passed away August 5, 2022.  Survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Jacquelyn Sicinski, nee (Klen) and his faithful and beloved daughter Joy Sicinski. Daughter Jill Vella (Sicinski), son-in-law Michael Vella, and grandson Nicholas Vella.  Also survived by his beautiful granddaughter Danielle Vella, finance Andy De Jesus, and his cherished great granddaughter Gianna De Jesus who was the pride of his life. Preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Victoria Sicinski (Splitt).

Tom worked for Caterpillar in Joliet IL for almost 40 years as a security guard until he retired. His retirement did not last long, and he went on to work for Toyal America in Joliet as a part time security guard. Tom was an avid bowler and won many trophies during his time playing on different leagues. He followed the JCA football team every season and went to as many games as possible. He loved his sports, especially baseball.

Tom was a very caring person and will be missed by many.

Visitation Friday, August 12, 2022, from 9:45 – 11:15 a.m. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road in Joliet. Prayer service at 11:15 a.m. then driving in procession to St. Ambrose Church 1705 Burry Circle, Crest Hill. A private interment will take place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
