Troy Anthony Allocco, age 26, passed away peacefully after bravely battling cancer for 18 months. Throughout this challenging journey, he demonstrated resilience and strength that touched the hearts of all who knew him. His courage in the face of adversity was truly remarkable and served as an inspiration to others.
A graduate of Joliet Central High School, Troy was known for his academic honors, love for youth baseball, and unwavering support for the Green Bay Packers.
He is survived by his loving parents, Terry and Kathleen Allocco; brothers, Rory and Blake Allocco, and grandparents, Frank and Sharon Allocco; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill and Shirley Gallagher; great-grandparents, James and Catherine Allocco; along with uncles, William and Tim Gallagher.
He was a deeply loved son, brother, grandson, nephew, and cousin. Troy's untimely departure has left a void in the hearts of all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
The family invites relatives and friends to join them on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 255 W North St, Manhattan, IL 60442, for a Mass of Christian burial to be held at 10:30 a.m. Per his wishes cremation rites have been accorded and interment will be held privately.
