Valeria Ann Zupancic, age 94, of Joliet, passed away July 18, 2012. Survived by her sons Aloysius J. (Dorothy) and Bernard E. (Pat) Zupancic; grandchildren Katherine, Amanda, Christopher (Shelly), Jerome (Sarah), and William Zupancic; great-grandchildren Zachary, Benjamin and Joseph Zupancic; brothers Joseph (the late Delores), Fred (Claudia), Raymond (the late Ida), Chester, and Leonard (Pat) Wrona; sisters Mary (the late Dan) Dillon, Christine (Larry) Peterson, and Virginia and Delores Wrona; sisters-in-law Irene and Janet Wrona; many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
She was preceded in death by her husband Louis Jerome Zupancic; twin daughters Jean Bernadine and Mary Louise Zupancic; parents Peter Paul and Mary Ann (Michon) Wrona, and brothers Walter, Edward (Therese) and Bernard Wrona.
Valeria was Past President and life-long member of St. Thaddeus Church WomenA�??s Club.
A Celebration of ValeriaA�??s life will begin on Monday, July 23 at 10:30 a.m. with prayers at the funeral home chapel then traveling in procession to St. Joseph Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Romeoville.
