Violet Enich (nee Plecas), age 87, at rest on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 with her loving family by her side.
Survived by three children Dr. Nadine (Dr. Michael) Keer, George (Magdelin) Enich, and Janice (William C. III) Taylor; her beloved grandchildren, Kimberly and Jason Keer, Elizabeth and Michael Enich; one brother Samuel Plecas; one sister-in-law Deo Plecas; one brother-in-law Alexander Grabavoy Sr.; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Helen Plecas; her cherished husband Michael Enich; one sister Danica Grabavoy; and one brother Joseph Plecas Jr.; one brother-in-law Joseph Enich and one sister-in-law Stella Enich.
Violet was a member of the St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, the Circle of Serbian Sisters, and the St. George Choir. She devoted many hours to working alongside all of her dear friends at the St. George Serbian Social Center. Violet was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and cousin and will be truly missed.
In lieu of flowers donations in VioletA�??s name may be made to St. George Serbian Orthodox Church.
A Celebration of VioletA�??s life will begin on Monday, March 4, 2013 with family and friends meeting at St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, 300 Stryker Avenue, Joliet, IL for a funeral service to begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Sunday, March 3, 2013 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Pomen Service at 7:30 p.m. at TezakA�??s Home to Celebrate Life.
