Virginia C. DuVal nee Jahneke, 70, lifelong resident of Joliet, passed away April 10, 2011. Beloved wife of Richard; loving sister of Maryann (Wilbur) Brookman; dear aunt of Lori (Scott) Offerman and Jimmi (Tina Wisniewski) Brookman; great aunt of Tony and Jason Offerman. Preceded in death by her parents John and Catherine Jahneke. Virginia was a member of St. Mary Nativity Church, KSKJ, Croation Women"s Union and the Slovanian Women"s Union. She was a retired employee of Olin Insurance Company and a past employee of SRK Insurance. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children"s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105. A celebration of Virginia"s life will begin on Friday, April 15 at 10 am with a funeral service at the funeral home chapel, then in procession to St. Mary Nativity Cemetery.
