Waldo Garcia, age 44, lifelong resident of Joliet, passed away on August 9, 2018.
Waldo was a talented artist who could bring a picture to life. He had a kind hearted soul and loved to meet new people.
Waldo is survived by his children, Esperanza and Nathaniel Padron; mother, Maria I. Garcia; brothers, Saul, Daniel and Eliseo; sisters, Hortencia, Olga “Pattie,” and Leticia; numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his father, Gorgonio Garcia.
A celebration of Waldo’s life will begin on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 with prayers in the funeral home chapel at 9:15 a.m. then driving in procession to Our lady of Mt. Carmel (Jackson Street) for a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Elmhurst Cemetery in Joliet. Visitation will be on Monday, August 13, 2018 at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
