William D. Ausec Sr. ""Bill"" Age 71. At rest Thursday, September 1, 2005 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center. Survived by wife of 52 years Ellen (nee McKay) Ausec; loving father of Daniel and William Jr. Ausec; Dana (special son-in-law Anton) Hermann; proud grandfather of Michael and Toni Hermann; two sisters, Carol (late Paul) Sivitskis, Peggy (Peter) Stump; one brother, Rocky (Sharon) Ausec; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Preceded in death by his parents, William J. and Margaret (nee Sullivan) Ausec; a sister Phyllis Murray. William was born in Joliet and was a life long Joliet area resident. Retired as a carpenter from Carpenters Local #174 in 1996 after 40 years of service. A member of the Belmont A.C. William coached and managed Little League and girls Fast Pitch for many years. He managed the 1977 Belmont Little League All-Stars and won the Illinois Little League State Title coming one game from playing the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA. under Single Elimination Rules.
