April D. Frausto (nee’ Anderson)

Age 68 of Joliet and formerly of Chicago, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 27, 2021 from a life-long illness at Lightways Hospice in Joliet.

Born July 19, 1953 in Chicago, April was a daughter of Bob and Dolores (Carroll) Anderson. April was raised and educated in Chicago and then moved to Joliet with her family in 1972. She later resided at Joshua Arms in Joliet with her husband, Pedro.

April is survived by her husband: Pedro “Pete” Frausto; her sister: Laura Anderson; nieces and nephews: Melissa Grady, Christina Majewski, Frankie Majewski and Adam Rosenberger, and great-niece and nephews: Saulo, Eva and Chase.

She is preceded in death by her parents and older sister: Sherry

Per April’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.

The family will receive relatives and friends for a memorial visitation on Saturday, January 8, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until time of memorial service beginning at 12:00 p.m. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road in Joliet.

Interment will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made as gifts in April’s memory to the American Cancer Society.
