Billy G. Holland, age 80, at rest on Friday, June 10, 2022 with his loving family by his side.

Billy is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Janet (nee Presswood); children, Dan Holland and Danette (the late Billy) McFarland; daughter-in-law, Maria (nee DelRose) Holland; grandchildren, Gianni (Michael) Nieto, Cathy Beckett, Junior (Xochitl) Beckett, Kyle Gersich, Chito Beckett and Sarah May (Cory Mankin) McFarland; great-grandchildren, Alex Beckett, Izaiah Scott, Jacob Beckett, Jayden Beckett, Ariana Beckett and Bryela Beckett; siblings, Nan (William) Humphries, Berl (Sandy) Holland, Wayne (Sylvia) Holland, Edith (Wayne) Pickens, Fray (Vicki) Holland, Eugene (Margaret) Holland, Millie (Tim) Dodge, Diane (Gary) Medlin, Kathy (Joe) Garcia, Sharon (Charles) King and Debi (the late Jim) Poulos; and sisters-in-law, Ruth Bedford and Lou Holland; brother-in-law, Brad Payne; fur babies, Mitzy and Princess; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his son, David S. Holland (2018); parents, Bertice and Irene Holland; father-in-law, Wally Presswood; mother-in-law, Aqualina (nee Alberico) (Peter) Flores; son-in-law, Billy McFarland (2018); great-granddaughter, Abigail Beckett (2014); siblings, Ellawese Holland, Juet Holland and Donna Payne.

Billy worked at Crossfield Chemical and retired after 41 years of dedicated service. He was a family man and enjoyed spending time with them. He enjoyed camping, hunting, being outdoors and especially agitating his oldest son. Billy was a jack of all trades, he could fix anything and found great joy in building houses. He will be truly missed.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be appreciated.

A celebration of Billy’s life will begin on Sunday, June 12, 2022 with a visitation at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. A service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 4:00 p.m.
