Lisa "Von" Rhodes

November 11, 1966 — August 18, 2019

On August 18th 2019, Lisa Yvonne Rhodes (Von) cast her love onto her family and left behind the physical pain she felt for many years, and her battle with cancer.

Von was born on November 11th 1966 in St. Louis Missouri to Carolyn Martin and Willard Burrus. She was the oldest of 2 children and she lived in many places throughout Illinois as a child and as she raised her own children. Von was very close with her nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Her favorite moments in life were watching them grow into the masterpieces she knew they were!

Her life was full of so much love, so many friends and so much family. Her three children, Samantha Lindemuth of Morris, Il, Randall Rhodes of Pekin, Il and Heather Rilea of Union Gap, WA,  their friends and their families will forever share Von's love with the rest of the world and we hope you do too!

A book could be filled with the names of those she held dear. None of them less important than the next. Please know she lives on in your love and everytime you share that love freely without judgement or strings attached you're allowing her to live on through you.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date as the seasons change.  We welcome you to follow her social media pages and help us finish and add to the bucket list Von created. We plan to keep #VonsView going forever in our hearts.
