Marina Ortiz De Arias

Marina Ortiz de Arias, 75, passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2022 in Joliet, IL. She was born on July 1946 in Cepio Moroleon Guanajuato, Mexico.

A fun loving person Marina enjoyed making her secret mole recipe as well as cooking many traditional dishes. She always had people at her house visiting her and will be greatly missed.

Left to cherish her memory is loving husband of 59 years Raul Arias, children: Maricela (Rodrigo) Perez, Heriberto (Elizabeth) Arias, Alfredo (Nora Angelica) Arias, Maria Esther (Rafa) Rodriguez, Raul Jr. Arias (Liza Borunda) as well as her grandchildren: Marina (Graciano) Leo, Rodrigo Jr. Perez, Ronaldo (Maria Soledad), Magdalena, Fatima Rodriguez, Liliana Arias, Raul III,Sebastian and Lizbeth Arias. She is also survived by three brothers and three sisters.

Marina was preceded in death by her parents: Leopoldo and Maria de Jesus Ortiz and one brother: Rosendo Ortiz.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Tezak Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held in Mexico with burial at Panteon
