Age 36 of Joliet, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 28, 2019 in a motor vehicle accident.

Born November 26, 1983 in Maywood, Michael Joseph is a son of Russell Mannino and Mary (Vermilyea) See. He was raised and educated in Plainfield and attended Plainfield Central High School. Following high school, Mike was a “Jack of all trades”. He worked independently and wore many hats. Whether he was under a car or on a roof, he knew how to fix it. Mike was selfless and would do anything for anyone. He will be remembered for his huge heart and love for life. Mike will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his parents: Mary (Mark) See and Russ (Helen) Mannino; siblings: Melanie (John) Galioto, Jason (Brittany) Mannino and Mary (Karl) Wilfinger; step-brother and step-sister: Ryan Forsberg and Diana Forsberg; nieces and nephews: William and Anthony, Enzo and Leonardo, Quinn and Brooke, and Olivia and Esme; godparents: Michael Mannino and Linda Arquette; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, and dear friend: Jack Tanton.

Michael was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Anthony and Joan Mannino, and maternal grandparents: Mary Louise Dohman and K. Lyle Vermilyea.

Family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. until time of service, 7:00 p.m. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road in Joliet.

Per Michael’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded following services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made as gifts in Michael’s memory to the family for their distribution.
