Theresa Anne Augustyniak

Theresa Anne Augustyniak, 71, passed away Sunday, September 5, 2021 in Joliet, Illinois.

Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois Theresa was a graduate of Five Holy Martyrs School and St. Barbara High School. She worked 28 years with the U.S. federal government up to her retirement. Her love for animals was great especially for her dogs. Her favorite hobbies were baking and sewing. Theresa was deeply loved and will be missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Roman and Helen Augustyniak.

Left to cherish her memory is one sister, Phyllis (David) Kelly; one brother, Ralph (Sheri) Augustyniak; her niece and nephew, Joseph and Angel Augustyniak; longtime partner, Larry Feldt; as well as numerous cousins and dear friends.

A celebration of Theresa’s life will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Joliet at 10:00 A.M. with entombment to follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery & Mausoleums, 7201 Archer Rd, Justice, IL 60458.

Guests are asked to follow guidelines at the church by wearing a mask.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made as gifts in Theresa’s memory to The American Cancer Socitey,Joliet Area Community Hospice or a charity of your choice.
